I’m syncing with WooCommerce and product imports work great, descriptions are OK. But product attributes such as color, center height, caliber, etc is REALLY A MESS!
I have viewed Green Supplies data files myself and they really don’t supply any attributes in their files.
Which brings me to wonder if InventorySource created some of these attributes from the item description.
Either way, they should be fixed. When I use a paid service there shouldn’t be stuff like spelling mistakes, or multiple attributes with the same name but different spacing. For example there are attributes named “capacity” “Capacity(Rounds)” and “Capacity (Rounds)”
How many times can you make multiple entries into the database? This not only bloats the database, but makes it a mess for your customers to fix. God forbid if I ever have to do a FULL sync again.
What can be done about this?
